5611: Strategies for Urban and Regional Development in Less Developed Countries

This course provides an overview of the evolving development policies concerned with the spatial location of people and economic activities. This course encourages students to analyze and critique the social and economic implications of various policies, and to develop alternative strategies for attaining development objectives.
