7645: Surgical Oncology Elective

This elective course focuses on oncology and the use of surgery to treat or cure patients with cancer by exposing students to the work-up and management of gastrointestinal malignancies including: esophageal, gastric, pancreatic, bile duct and liver. Students gain experience in the outpatient clinic setting as well as in the operating room during complex open and robotic procedures.
