7445: Pediatric Nephrology

This course familiarizes students with the wide range of pediatric kidney diseases encountered in the intensive-care unit as well as in inpatient and outpatient departments. Patient care ranges from common outpatient signs and symptoms suggesting kidney disease in children to the renal disease cases requiring a more intensive evaluation. May be taken for credit for a total of eight semester hours.
