4604: New Product Development

This course builds a foundation in new product development. Students create a new consumer brand including name, logo, product features, product package, labeling, recommended retail price and estimated cost of goods. Students work in product teams of 3-4 people and will pitch their new brand/product(s) at the end of the course. Students also work individually to develop a new product brief for a product line extension and a brand extension.
